Livetracking Toronto Waterfront Marathon

marathon.jpg

This Sunday marks the 20th anniversary of the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Together with the Ottawa National Capital Marathon and the Toronto GoodLife Fitness Marathon, it's one of the biggest race events in Canada and an official qualifier for Boston.

I'll be running the full marathon, which starts at 7:30am, together with over 2500 others. I'm also turning it into a bit of a personal online event, using an app called SportsTracker on my phone. Using the phone's GPS, the app will show my position on the map through the run, and I even have the ability to send pictures and video from the course, although I doubt that I'll be doing that.

Once the run starts, you'll be able to find my live stream on top of the list of my tracked runs on this page.

At Organic, AllHands is a word that we have used regularly. It has meaning to us. It’s collaborative, speaks to whole teams, and it’s a term deeply rooted in our culture—as it is what we call our local office meetings. At AllHands meetings, we share completed work, celebrate successes, and welcome new colleagues.

We have created the AllHands blog to capture the spirit of these gatherings and to give the world a view inside Organic—who we are and how we work. It’s a place where all Organics can share their stories and experiences with each other and with you.
